How PunëPunë collects account, moderation, and platform data, and how that data supports trust and safety.

Updated March 20, 2026

What we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as account details, profile information, reviews, discussions, comments, votes, and reports.

We also collect operational data needed to run the service, such as authentication state, device or browser context, rate-limit records, moderation actions, and basic security logs.

  • Account data: email address, sign-in method, verification status, and optional profile details.
  • Content data: reviews, discussions, comments, reports, and any edits or moderation outcomes tied to them.
  • Safety data: abuse-prevention signals, audit logs, and resolution history for moderation actions.

How we use information

We use data to authenticate users, publish and moderate content, prevent abuse, respond to reports, improve search and discovery, and communicate about account or safety events.

When you submit anonymous content, we use internal account data to moderate responsibly without exposing that identity publicly.

Public content and anonymity

If you publish a non-anonymous discussion, your display name may appear publicly next to the content you post. If you choose anonymity where supported, we hide your public identity on the surface where the content appears.

Anonymous posting is not the same as invisibility to moderators. Internal access is limited to the information necessary for trust, safety, and platform operations.

  • Approved reviews can appear on company pages and in search results.
  • Discussions and comments can appear publicly unless later moderated.
  • Reports and moderation notes are internal and are not published as public content.

Sharing, retention, and your choices

We may share data with service providers that help us operate authentication, hosting, email delivery, security, or analytics, subject to appropriate controls.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain audit history for abuse prevention.

You can delete certain content directly through the product, and you can contact us for additional privacy or account requests.
